I love this one...

Chris posted this "essay by her son" and it had me grinning from ear to ear. (I don't laugh much, I'm more of a smiler. Seriously. And I always feel bad because people don't know how funny I actually think they are. I can only sit there and smile. And then smile a little bigger.)

Just thought you'd like it.

it was funny - life is tough when you're five. you need to "belly" laugh - it makes you feel good when you do it!

i've said it before, and i will say it till the day... 'i really don't know that i will have lived life till i have a son...'
they really are different than girls, no more or less special or precious of course, just.. well i don't know what it is, but reading that essay confirms it all the more... i really want a boy... and i may just have to adopt... i mean i want to adopt anyway i think.. but i don't think i can handle another pregnancy and post partum, and all that...... oh man... i just don't think so... but oh boys really do make me cry... and laugh... and get all excited about the lucky day that might just be...... ... ... maybe... one day....
