Need more ice cream.

We are moving to Sacramento in one week. It is one of the next steps on our way to India, and it feels incredible that we are actually on our way.

One week, people.

I am going to take a break, my head is doing that thing where it spins in circles. I wait for the day when I will be able to focus on creativity again, the day when boxes and phone calls and endless paperwork don't stretch before me like a long line of buzzards, waiting to take a peck at my eyes.

That day will come soon. I will be back here on November 1st, the first day of the month during which I will be posting everyday. Poor you.

Daily posts? You must mean YAY US! I'll be looking forward to that for sure.

Hang in there- even as I type it I know it sounds trite. One way to look at it though is that your travels are taking you through a tunnel and you know for certain that the light at the end is NOT another train. The move must happen now whether the buzzards get to you or not! The mundane and overwhelming always seem to get done even when a week seems like not enough time. Praying that this next week will be productive and cathartic- emotionally that is, in a purging, letting-go, renewing kind of way. :-)

I wanted to let you know how I have enjoyed finding your website. I love your perspective and the photos bring a smile to my face. So, India! Wow that it is a journey and one I, too, hope to make one day. I have linked you on my BlogRoll. When the spins settle a bit, please drop by and visit my blog. Peace.

Hmmm, or, that the light at the end of the tunnel is another train, but an Indian one this time. Please tell me that Chinua will let you take the first class car this time? I'm so excited for you. One box at a time....

Good luck with your move!

I'm dying to here more about the general logistics of how an entire family can move to India...Visas, work permits, etc...How does that work?

If you are to be there long term I would love to visit you there !, and if that doesn't fall through thank heavens for your blog!

I know the last thing you need to do is answer questions but I am wondering:

Are you doing some missionary work in India? or is there a comunity you long to be with there?

Peace Sista!
