My weekend in a matter of words (and in no particular order)
April 16, 2007
Taxes (!!!)
Beautiful comments from my friendsÂ
Pesto
Pine needles on my floor
Sweeping
Cleaning to my liking
Overdoing it
Fruit baskets
Diapers (where are the diaper pins?)
Slobbery kisses
Hugs at church
Lupin, poppies, and I forgot my camera
Long drive through three beautiful counties
Motorcade passing (was that the president?)
Renee carrying my heavy stuff
Crying at the computer like a sap
Blue cotton yarn and bamboo needles
Sun and vineyards
Coffee in the morning at an outdoor cafe
How was yours? (In a matter of words...)

In a matter of words: windblown rain, warm sticky temperatures, homemade enchiladas, a giggling yet tearful stroll down memory lane with my Man, Annie's chocolate chip bunny grahams straight out of the box, a still-dead laptop :-( , watching my strapping boys help their Daddy do yardwork like little men, green powdery pollen on everything outside, wildflowers blooming on highway medians, kudzu vines spreading everywhere, taxes filed online, being the new guys at church but not feeling out of place at all, lunch and shopping with my girl since it was her turn for a date, an honest to goodness Sunday nap during a rainstorm...
My words: early mornings; lost wallet (husband's, not mine; breakfast @ the Caprice Cafe; Rainbow Turtle shop; beef brisket @ the farmer's market; shoe window shopping; long walks on cobblestone; blossoming trees; playgrounds; scads of people for lunch; baby drool; poopy diapers; morning light; hopes for a date [that took place Monday:-)]
ick, Taxes was at the top of mine, too. Then lots of sunshine and runny noses.
Work, taxes, cleaning (decluttering continues), reading (mags and online), baby shower for friend's niece, out to lunch with old friend/collegue and her granddaughter, letting the cats in and out, snuggling with the cats, watering the strawberry and pansy plants, checking for new strawberries. Sunday morning news - major whining over the Rutgers Ladies and Gwen Ifell.
Mine, sadly, was work, work, work, but with the nightly chasing around a child so I can get her ready for bed! (And that's always fun!) :)
