Almost done

I'm lost in the barren landscape of tax business. If there was ever a girl less suited to accounting, well... I don't think there was.

The good news is I'm going to finish today! And also the good news is that I made some capes for my kids who were a king and a queen at a royal costume party yesterday. Chinua made the crowns. They were adorable.

Leafy went as an Indian prince, with a turban. And he was edible. I had to stop people from nibbling on him.

Anyways, back to the grindstone. I just wanted you to know that I haven't slipped off into deep space or anything. Because that would be harder than simply being buried in tax business.

They were pretty much edible. Thanks for the good times.

Oh yes, pictures please! I think my kids play dress up almost more than anything else. It's amazing how many times a day they change characters just by putting on a different hat or a piece of fabric or something. Capes and crowns are wonderful fun!

Ugh. Taxes are such a bummer. You'd think they'd make it easier for you to pay them. But no, it has to be as complicated and painful as possible. Hope you're done by now!!!
