The bad news is, they are holding our shipment for ransom for a ridiculous amount of money.
The good news is, we now have internet within our very own home! Luxury.
The other good news is that Chinua has a new post up.
Last night I thought I would have an absolute internet glut and read about a thousand blogs, but then my mind shut down from all the computer stimulation after about ten minutes and I just had to fall asleep.
This morning the mayflies were back so I jumped out of bed early again. They haven't been back since the first time I wrote about them, and I was kind of missing them. Awww, cute little flying bugs with no mouths who only live for one day and only have reproductive organs. Fodder for fish. So sweet.

Does your internet include using Skype? Just wondering!
Mayflies eh? Are they the same thing as fireflies only with a different name? Love them too. Remember when my SH tried to kill them in Louisana while we were standing around a fire, because he thought the sparks were flying out from the fire, but it was the fireflies! He'd never seen them before. Being raised in southern Ontario, I had.
I love both you and your husband's writing. What a treat to find such fantastic, thoughtful writing about such an interesting topic just out there on the internet.

the ransom thing doesn't surprise me, i've heard that one a few times from different folks, maybe they can accept love and devotion or some indian sweets in exchange for your things?
....... glad to have caught up on your blogging, it sounds like things are going so fortunately for you and this is a very sacred and wonderful time...
