Litchi Season!

Litchis!

Leafy and Litchi 2

Leafy and Litchi

They are delicious.  And believe me, I used to be of the "they-look-and-feel-too-much-like-eyeballs" camp too.  Something about seasonal fruit really gets you excited, though.  And I've been converted to the "I-love-Litchis!" camp.

oh my, now I have a serious craving. Totally feel in love with these in China, and now we buy whenever they have them here, but as everyone knows, they are not fresh, and the juice does not drip down to our elbows. Oh how I miss that. 2 of my kids still say litchi's are their favorite fruit. Enjoy some for us!

ooh, we *love* litchis too! so hard to get in michigan, however. :( litchi juice can be found occasionally though, and my girls will drink it like water if i let them. enjoy the season!
