Week of Beauty: Solitude

Solitude in my life is fleeting, brief, and not so common.

Which makes it all the more beautiful.

There is almost nothing lovelier to me than a morning with a book, a bible, a journal and a cup of chai. (Or coffee, but not Nescafé.)

If you want to play along this week, all you have to do is leave a link to where you have posted one beautiful thing, it could be anything! I would love to see the beauty around you as well.

Very easy to find beauty in my life today. I just heard that a dear friend of mine gave birth to her fifth baby, a beautiful baby boy. "Duyvken" and I met via our blogs, and soon realised that we lived near each other. This is also a wonderful example of what you stand for Rae - people connecting - so it is only fitting that I add the link in your commentbox.

That is a beautiful thing--and a beautiful start to a day.
Lovely feet and I would love to have that moment of morning solitude and that chai.
