a series on being :: part five

:: part five ::

To find this shape of you, you need to start slowly and small, and build up the places you have neglected. You can ask yourself some questions: What do I like? What do I want? What is a good day to me? What do I like to wear? What did I see today that spoke to me about the vastness and goodness of God?

This is not the end. This is the beginning, only the beginning. You will come back to this beginning again and again. Later, there is the movement, the relating. You can absolutely do all of it out of order. And you may flail if you do. If you see yourself as the negative space around other people long enough, you will start to find that your anger grows and grows. This is a good sign. God wants you to be full and real and solid. Don’t worry. There is always time to come back to the beginning.
